Am I paranoid or does the pinion seal starting to leak? Took it to the dealer was told is isn’t a leak until it slings.

It looks borderline to me. If it wasn't under warranty I would wait to replace the seal. I would clean it off well and watch it for more oil.

Alrighty, thanks. It’s still under the extended warranty which thankfully I’ve yet to use.

I agree with @Mattman06 in that the seal is either not seated at the top or has been driven in too far below. I know alot of the times when us owners think it is the pinion seal, in reality, its the bearing that is letting loose. You might have the dealership check to see if the seal is failing (or you can try to wiggle the front shaft to see if there is excessive play).
