When is the new turbo being released? No info anywhere, at this point not sure if they are even coming out with a 17' model turbo. Give us a teaser video or something Polaris.

Great!! Sometime between now and April of next year. Ya'll are muckin with me. I have to wait because surely PoPo will respond to the latest challenger. Waiting for it!!!! Ive decided to keep the XP 1000 when we reup this time, I let the ole 800 go we got got the 1000. I really like the XP1000, set it up for trailing. Think I want to make a nice racer out of the Turbo model. I waited for the '09 800, the '15 XP 1000, now want to see what the '17 Turbo has to offer. I like waiting on second year so some of the bugs get worked out. That puts the latest competition off the table for at least a year. I don't really need a Turbo, I do like some of the improvements to suspension and running gear on the '16 Turbo over the XP 1000 though. Like a kid on Christmas morning I waited on the '17 Turbo on release day, it just wasn't there. "Maybe for your birthday" mom used to say. So I Wait!!!! Maybe if I wait 6 years, as I did when upgrading from the 800 to the XP 1000, something absolutely mind blowing will be there again.

Not sure why the delay now that they have the recall figured out, unless they are short on the replacement oil drain tubes and 2016 are the top priority? I was told last week directly from Polaris customer support that the 2017 is exactly the same and has the same recall updates as the '16. Only difference was slightly more hp. Either way, I don't think we will see a much different machine. My guess is 2018 will be a completely new 72" wide chassis with long travel. Could even be an early release in the spring????

If that's the case. I made a good move pulling the trigger on the 16 in July. Got a great price on it and the 17 isn't going to be any better. I don't have much of a need for a wide version. I'm to wide for a lot of trails now. But it don't stop me lol. When I get a ticket and I will. I will smile and say, see ya next wknd.

What would it matter if the '17 was better?? Why do so many people write this on this forum? If people are happy with what they have, whether or not it's the "best" shouldn't matter. I have a '13 xp 4 and I love it, although I am currently shopping but not because I need "the best". The xp 900 does everything I need. Be happy with what you have, who cares about the '17 or '18 being better!! Modern American culture is so awesome.......(tongue in cheek).

Watch your step when you climb down off your soap box. I don't need to have the best there Wolfpack. But I do want the best bang for my buck. So why don't you just slow your roll a it on the whole American culture thing. What I'm saying is, if the 17 model comes out and it has a bunch of improvements and the price isn't much different I'll be bummed that I didn't wait. But if it's pretty much the same, I'm glad I saved the money on going with the 16. Ok your turn now.

Actually long before that. 1989 was the last year of the trx 250r and pilot. All through the 80's Honda ruled with the ATC's & trx 250r's, oddesys & pilots Most say there demise was due to all the law suites from the three wheelers. Same with Yamaha and the Rhino. They got out of the sxs game due to all the law suites. Not suggesting that Polaris gets out of the game, but unless they step it up big time in 2018 I see a big shift in market share.
