This seems to be a bigger issue than once thought and no real fix for it.

Some were fixed going from 66gr weights to 68, some going from 68 to 70

Some tried weaker secondary and primary springs and heavier weights and still have it.

Today I don't have an answer, I do know when the Dalton kit comes out this Summer it will be fixed.

The issue is so bad I just decided Hunterworks needs to buy one to try to fix it before then. Just picked it up and have not been able to drive it yet.

We have some other new products coming for this model so that with this issue I needed one.

I have some larger secondary rollers to replace the square ones in the 16 model, helps but does not fix either

About to decide it is a helix issue and we cant get custom helixes yet

I am getting about three phone calls a day with nothing to report yet

I need to get some miles on mine and see if it has the issue or not. Rainy here

So maybe I can get out this week on it

So stay tuned on this, I promise we are working on it

A biggy, some are fixing it by having their ECU flashed, this does make it not hit the rev limiter but then they are running way too much RPM and this is not good for the machine. So that is not really a fix

We do have a belt for it though.

Again I will say I love my RZR but there has to be a point where they get it right or fix what they have sold. Thankfully I have had 0 problems other than noisy front diff which went away at 60 miles in the dunes. Loved my 6.0 Ford but had to fix it to make it work. How many other horror stories are out there that we don't hear about. Wonder what would happen if everyone just stopped buying from Polaris or whom ever that won't get it right. Either they would tank or get it together. Most of the vendors on this site stand behind what they sell. The little guy has to. People post to see if a product is safe or wait for the guinnea pigs to test it out first. Just my 2 cents and I truly feel for the people that can't get resolution for the issues they have. I have been a small business owner all my life and have to make it right... Sunday I wanted to run to Pismo but had an emergency service call,I had to go and fix or not put food on my table. Sure one account might not have hurt if I lost it but it's my reputation and integrity.

I'm having a major issue with the clutch on my 2017 Ranger 1000 cc. Dealer has said there is nothing wrong even though
you have to depress the accelerator at least 1/2 inch before it grabs. Makes it real tough when you are on the side of a hill
or a rocky gully. To me its a big safety issue but Polaris and all the dealers are sticking there heads in the ground and
will not do anything about it.
I'm in the process of contacting a Lemon law attorney. Is anyone else having this issue?

well...just heard from the dealer. Polaris is going to replace primary and secondary springs and weights under warranty on my 16' highlifter 4 seater. they say the 4 seater weights were "designed" to rev like that and limit speed (B.S. cough cough )....but we'll see what they replace it with and if it works....dealer acted like it would be the kit from a normal rzr1000 which who knows....

will update when done
