So I got the new beast and after 9 hrs my filter is smoked! These slide on paper filters don't seem to be very trustworthy so I've done some research and have decided to get a afe or k&n oil able filter and put a oilable notoil foam piece over the top. Reason being I can clamp a afe or k&n with a hose clamp vs slide on no trust with the notoil or stock paper filter, and in my experience w dirt bikes you can't go without a oiled filter so get the foam oiled filter slid over the top.

This is what it concluded can anyone think of a better alternative where my filter is clamped and oiled? And if so maybe a link haven't bought anything yet but need to asap!

And who sells 2015 parts can't find a thing online!

After all the problems I have read about using the K&N filter and my experience with the one on my 800, I would not use one on a RZR period. If you guys feel like you just cannot live without an aftermarket filter, consider the Donaldson. I switched to the Dragonfire air cleaner system on the 800 which uses a Donaldson pleated filter and it has worked great. The part I like is I can buy that filter element at any NAPA dealer. (I had to do that at the Taylor Park event last Aug. ) I am going to keep the stock one on the 900S. JMHO

I wouldn't trust a K&N on a vacuum cleaner. I bought a used truck a couple years ago and you could wipe dust out of the intake tube.

Yeah, I'd probably stick with the OEM or Donaldson. Not sure what the deal is with the K&N on these RZR's, but from the majority of things I've read, don't use the K&N on 'em. I find it really odd, as I've had K&N on my bikes and cars with zero problems over the past 2 decades.

I use the R2C air filter. I run my rzr 900 thru silt, sand n mud and my intake is spotless. Also there filter comes with a clamp. Ive used that oiled stuff and its only gonna happen again with that. these guys built filters for the military. I've had the filter since after i got my rzr have 100s of miles on it and after each ride i just take it off and blow it out with compressed air. Heres a picture of it installed. also heres there website. High Performance Cold Air Intakes and Performance Air Filters
