My dealer told me today the RZR line up is going to change. The 800 and 800 S will get a platform facelift as its been unchanged since 2008. The 900 is gone due to the price proximity to the 1000. Look for a 1000 special to come mid 2015 or 2016 model thats more tricked out, he wouldn't elaborate on it. Don't think he knows a lot of details as to what. He thinks the power war is just getting warmed up and were in for bigger and better things from the King of side by sides. I think he's right on.

You have to admit though, the 1000 is an awesome machine and can only get better.
I agree though, I bought an 800 and out came the 900, bought a 900 and out comes a 1000. I just bought a 1000 so you said it something new is coming. I would bet it will be another year though, seems like they run in two to two and a half year cycles on new products.

Here is my prediction. I'll also post some renderings below my prediction list, of what I think the new XP 900 60" and 64" will look like. I left the XP 1000 behind the rendering, to show the comparison in scale.

Here is my prediction:
2015 ACE ProStar 32 (same as 2014 model)

2015 ACE ProStar 570 (new, with EPS, will now be 50-55 hp)

2015 RZR ProStar 570 (50" width, maybe new plastic design, and now with 50-55 hp)

2015 RZR ProStar XP 900 Trail (new, 60" width, replacing the RZR S 800, LED headlights and taillights, with new exterior and cabin/dash plastic design based off of the styling of the XP1K with XP1K seats, with an upgraded Prostar 900 with 90 hp and updated suspension)

2015 RZR ProStar XP 900 (64" width, LED headlights and taillights, with new exterior and cabin/dash plastic design based off of the styling of the XP1K with XP1K seats, with an upgraded Prostar 900 with 90 hp and updated suspension)

2015 RZR ProStar XP4 900 (64" width, LED headlights and taillights, with new exterior and cabin/dash plastic design based off of the styling of the XP1K with XP1K seats, with an upgraded Prostar 900 with 90 hp and updated suspension)

2015 RZR ProStar XP 1000 (same as current 2014, with lower rear radius rod fix)

2015 RZR ProStar XP4 1000 (same as current 2014, with lower rear radius rod fix)

AND all Limited Edition RZRs will have EPS.

AND now, here are the renderings as I mentioned:
The RZR XP 900 60" Trail and the 64" width.

I upgraded from a 50 inch RZR to an S 2 months before the 900 came out. I was pi$$ed. Instead of buying the 900 I stayed with my S and loved it for what it was. I just bought a 1K 4 seater and decided it was ok since it was the gen 2 version. I realized then and there how close I was to the new release date in July and didn't want to wait. Buy what you like at the time you want to buy it and be happy with it. When you want to upgrade or can afford to again then do it. Until then just don't let a new model release get you down. Otherwise all you will end up doing is waiting and never buy one!

I am driving a 2013 S now and I believe it has all the engine it can handle--any more power and you will be over-driving the suspension and short wheel base--maybe a detuned 900 to get the better engine--after all, why would Polaris mess with their best seller but to make it even better.. Eliminate the 800 in the bigger chassis and put it in the 570 only. The way Polaris has the engines and chassis mated up now they are perfect for safety and performance. To put the highly powerful 1000 in any chassis other than the one it's in now would be asking for trouble unless they detune it for safety---just my thoughts........have to wait and see !!!

I'm hoping at the very least they release a HO bolt on option like thy did for the 900's...end of July is way to far away lol
