I have a heavy 2015 900/4 and we ride any where sea leval to 13,000 in CO. What clutch should I buy? I also have the bully dog tuner on it.

thanks
Glad to help out Shawn, the clutch kit we sell for the 2015 900 models without factory EBS, sea level to 4500' (SLP#41-740) includes adjustable weights to give you the best performance for different elevations. This is going to be key for you with the broad range of elevations you play at.

For each 1000' that you go up in elevation, your RZR will loose approximately 3% of the horsepower it's engine is capable of at sea level. So the 75 horsepower you make at sea level is more like 50 at 11000'. (This is with a naturally aspirated engine with no electronic limiting)

At elevations above 4500' the drop in horsepower requires a different clutch calibration on the weights and the drive spring as well for this model. (Only the spring would need to be purchased as the weights have enough adjustability to handle the required calibration changes).

When you order the clutch kit, just ask about the additional spring and tuning specs so the salesman can send them along with.

Thanks,
Adam
I just ordered the heavy below 4500 41-840kit. What's the difference between the 41-740 and the 41-840 kits? Can I get the second set of springs later? will it also come with a setup sheet? Are these kits instock?

Thanks
Shawn

Awesome Shawn! You are going to love it. The components between those 2 kits are the same. The only difference in in the tuning sheet. If you want the tuning instructions for the other kit, I can make that happen. Where did you order the kit from?

Well I called today after not hearing anything about the order. The parts are on back order till at least the 15th. I wish I had received a email about the parts being on BO. So I just canceled the order. We have a trip planed next weekend and was needing something for it.

Sorry about that Shawn. Our system sends an email automatically when the order is placed so you should have gotten a confirmation immediately. I'll check into it and see what's going on. I apologize about the delay on being able to ship the parts out too. Unfortunately, I think getting parts for the TEAM clutch right now is difficult for everybody as the manufacturer aftermarket side has switched hands. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help out.

I have a 2015 RZR 900 50" trail. Don't really like EBS can I change to non EBS ? Hope to go with bigger tires soon
Yes, you can remove EBS with our clutch kit. Essentially, we will use a non-EBS helix and the clutch will have to have a couple of shims added to it.

I just ordered the trail kit 0-4500 ft, for my 15 rzr s900. I just wanted to make sure that it didn't come with the EBS. Also when I add my exhaust, increase air flow, and tune will I be able to adjust the clutch as needed? Thanks

The helix included with the standard Trail Clutch Kit is EBS in the same sense that the stock standard clutch is EBS (not complete EBS but limited EBS). Full EBS requires installation of a one-way bearing in the drive clutch and re-shimming the secondary clutch.

To remove EBS from your 2015 RZR-S 900 all you really need to do is ask for the Non-EBS helix as part of the clutch kit when you order it. That will allow your RZR to freewheel when off the throttle.

To answer your questions about adjustability: the weights included with our clutch kit are extremely adjustable, and will give you the ability to fine tune for all the modifications you are planning on.

Hey guys, here is another item that goes really well with the 900 clutch kit:

Clutch Intake Tube Pre-filter

The Pre-filter for the clutch air intake tube keeps dust and debris from getting into the clutch compartment, which helps to prevent premature clutch component wear and failure.
