So basically it is a regular RZR with S flares, some 26" tires, a roof, and shocks. BFD.

Still a gutless slug.

A gutless slug?? I wouldn't go that far.
My 2013 Rzr S has plenty of power for everything I do and I like to raise hell and go fast.
Sure you can never have enough power but I definitely wouldn't call the 800 gutless. My "little" 800-S LE will destroy a Commander 1000 through the rough stuff no problem every time.

But I would love it if they would make a 60" XC-900...I would buy one!

In my area most dealers don't even keep XP's in stock because they don't sell around here.
I would say 95% of what they sell are 800's.

My hope is that this model was created to keep the market interested long enough to produce the next best thing like the Jagged X was. Sometime soon the 800 platform will have to be upgraded... not to say that I don't love my S le but the Pro Star engine in an A-arm chassis would be fantastic, even better with the stronger chassis, new look and better interior!

When it finally comes, it'll be worth the wait. (I hope)

well, this is my first Rzr and there is no way I can do the add ons myself for what they can sell this one for.

12,489 for an EPS Blue Fire.
600. for a used set of Dragon Fire Bead Locks with bighorns on them
500. for doors
270. for windshield
300. for Roof
200. for rear windshield
250. for S flares
1300. for used King Shocks

That's 15,900 and I had to find some things Used...

Of course, I also added front and rear bumpers and done some cage mods too...

But all in all, I think this thing is a good buy and will Sell and Sell quickly.

It looks cool, I'd buy it if.....

(Side note) OK, the 800 has the "S" model which gives extra width, more ground clearance, bigger wheels and a more aggressive look.

....so I'd buy it if it had been a 570XC, you know more width, more ground clearance, bigger wheels and a more aggressive look.

I am a little disappointed in the fact that this is the only trail machine released this year. And it seems to be on the last page of the release. Like here trail guys, this is what you get. For the sand riders, they released the XP, then the XP 4, then the Jagged X, then the 1000. For the trail guys, nothing new so to speak in the last 2 years.
I will say that they have made a machine that is pretty much trail ready. I spent $5K after the $9995.00 for a new 09 STD. That was just to make it trail ready. Then added another $3K on stereo, more lights etc. This does look out-of-the-box ready o ride.
AC just announced a 50 inch wide WC. To be in dealers showrooms 4th Q of 2014! That is one hell of a wait!

55" wide...useless in my territory. All the good trails are limited to 50". Now, if they offered the same package in a 50, I'd be interested. WE shocks, doors, 26 inch Horns, upgraded seats, for $15,300? Can't build it for that. If the 900 were in it...I'd have to find someone to buy a kidney, cause I'd have to have it!

I'm with you, I'm not jumping on anything new from Polaris until I see what AC has to offer. Polaris has ignored the 50" trail guys becauses they were the only game in town and didn't see the need to spend any money making the product better.

Still haven't improved the ball joints, a-arm bushings, and other fit/finish items on it either.

Three of my friends have bought a total of 3 800s and 1 570 in the last year. The sales are still there. Dont worry about having something new for the trail guys...if polaris wants to drag their feet and become a west coast manufacturer, i'll bet one of the other manufacturers will leap past them...and it might be someone you don't expect.

I must admit, I was really hoping for a 75 horse S model.

I know they already have the motor...it is in their XP 4 wheelers.

The only thing I can think of is the West coast must account for most
of their sales... because the only thing you can do around my area (western NC) with a big XP machine is either race tracks that are already built for this size machine...or ride some gravel roads. And there really is no gravel roads left.

And, the height is just as much of a problem as the width on our available trails

I think most of us are limited to 50-55". Ohio trails are 50", but you can get by being a little wider. I think the only thing making this XC 55" is the wheels (less backspace), so if they would have put a 900 in this, I'm thinking switch the wheels to the std RZR wheels and you could be at about 50"! IMO this is cool and all, but nothing I'd consider getting rid of my 2011 WE for...now if it had the 900, I'd already have a deposit on one!

WE model in the 50" is cool. My wife wanted the EPS and they didnt have a WE model in 13.

I did just find some king shocks tho... so with the suspension and wheel upgrade, i have basically built their new XC version.

The wife and boys have pretty much claimed this one tho, so I was hoping for a meaner trail
Machine.
