Hello All,

I recently just bought a 2013 RZR 570LE, there are a few concerns that I have and I am hoping you guys may be able to shed some light.

1) When slowing down through barricades on the trails I tend to hear a noise that sounds like something is loose in the passenger side rear end, it makes its scraping noise in rotation with the wheel. (if i slow down so does the sound if I speed up the noise eventually seems to go away at high RPM's) The dealer told me this is normal for all turf mode vehicles and has by RZR in the shop for the second time in three weeks.

2) The fit and finish of where the back plastics meet on the side of the vehicle below the air intake and where it would be on the passenger side is terrible with a half inch gap actually creating a hole (I can get pics if necessary) The dealer tells me this is normal on all 570's and he believes its because Polaris didn't seem to bother to change the mold for the 570? This to me seems to be unrealistic for a vehicle that has a price tag of $13,000 here in Canada.

Please let me know if any of you have experienced any of these issues above, I would really appreciate it.

I noticed the noise also with my 2013 570 but if you kept the RPMs up to keep the clutch engaged, the noise goes away and you keep your engine braking! My black to red side panels also have a 1/2" gap on the left side. Dont forget, Polaris cut some corners to get the price down. But I dont understand why it is 13000 in Canada and 11000 here! Politics, environmentalists?

LoL everything is more expensive in Canada! We brew a local beer called Keith's its $23. for 12, the same beer in Maine is 7.50 for six so 8 dollars less per 12 than here and has to be imported there lol.

Anyhow back to the RZR, I guess they are all the same? The dealer told me they had 7 on the lot and they were all the same, cutting cost is one thing but $13,000 plus 15% tax is a lot to pay for a fit and finish like this.

I love it otherwise!

Hard to tell in the pics, looks like there may be a gap right below your air intake in the garage pic? I'm still waiting for mine, the dealer said they took pictures of the gap and documented the noise but "Ask Polaris tech support" said it was normal?

I replaced one of the pic's with a better shot now that I'm home. Mine look okay, considering that they are a flexible plastic material. Jonyfiver and Rzed, hopefully you guys can get yours fixed for a better fit.

I had the same 1/2" gap on my base 570. I removed the panel and found that the retainer clip used there blocks the lower panel from aligning properly with the top panel. Don't know if they ran out of the correct sized retainer clips or what. As a temporary solution I swung the retainer clip up high as opposed to down low, this prevents the clip from pushing the plastic outward. I'm going to look for a properly sized retainer clip.

I think it's pathetic polaris would allow this type of quality control.

My concern was the ECU. In looking at my "Product ID Sheet" I see a date at the top 10/25/12 and a "Serial Lot 2012-10-24 XXXX" under both the headings of "Frame" and "Clutch". Is the serial lot date the build date or maybe the Product ID Sheet date? The "Origin of Vehicle" is dated 11/15/12, maybe that is it. Anybody know?

Also found a listing for "Ecu: 4014137". I guess my concern about the ECU is confirmed. It doesn't have the latest 4014178. Before I saw this, I asked my dealer (salesman on duty) about it and got blown off. I'll talk to the owner and try to get some satisfaction that way.

Sorry, I know this thread is about fit and finish, but it is titled RZR 570 LE concerns.

The last I heard, demand was too high to actually make the move. In fact it was postponed. When I talked to the factory guy last year in my post purchase interview, I brought this up and that is what he told me, and he said only quad manufactuing was scheduled move at that time. I flat out told him if they moved manufacturing to Mexico, I would buy Artic Cat. But who knows where the truth lies. Part of anything you buy are off-shore manufactured where do you draw the line? I bought a nice American made PT Cruiser for the wife and then saw the sticker that said "Assembled in Mexico."
