We have never been there yet. Do they have pull through camping spots? We have a toy hauler. Do you have contact info to make reservation?

Call Val at Mack's Pines 479-331-3261
She has a day job, will answer after 5:30 PM.
As far as pull throughs, yes and no. Doesn't matter, lots of big rigs come, and we all will help to get you into position. Don't sweat it, you will fit.

We just had a person call from our group and they were told only sites left are primitive sites no more hookups available

Fills quickly. But in previous years Val who runs it makes it work. Maybe someone will chime in with how the primitive camping works. Like many off road places this place is miles from anything. And not a huge resort. But we make it work!!

I primitive camped last year and just drove 3 1/2 hours and showed up and got a great spot over by the lake we had a 20 ft trailer and a Yukon and parked at our spot and then the next day there were like five more tents behind us. We shared our fire and made new friends.......

OK, here's the deal. The ONLY sewer dump is over by the bathrooms. You want to show up with empty holding tanks. Before you leave, you swing around from the north end of the circle and pull up to empty black and gray tanks. Bring water. They do have a, um, a bath house for hot showers. I've dry camped before and used about 4 gal of water per person per day, plus other beverages of course. As far as electric? bring or steal a small generator. You will survive!

Guys, this ain't the Hilton. That was the south exit off the interstate, not the north. LOL
We have found that you can make do with so little on these rides. I bring my Webber grill and all the stuff for that. Everyone is always welcome to use it. And they do! The campfires are for all to enjoy! I know that a lot of these guys have been going since day one, plus we gather for other rides as well, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, don't be afraid to walk up and say hi at the fire pit. This is exactly how we all got to know each other.
It is not a fashion show, although Aaron does have a styling mullett.
If you get in a bind for something, tylenol, rolaids, mustard, Depends, or whatever, just ask around somebody will help you out!!

What he meant to say was bring plenty of beer cause if you run out your on your own:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
Seriously Though.
There were alot of people who dry camped last year, actually alot more than had hookups. its only for a few days and anything you might need someone will have and be more than willing to help. If someone had an issue with their RZR then everyone jumped in and got it going asap. The parts always just magically showed up. We have been to the Taylor park ride for the past two years where Everyone dry camped in a meadow. If you dont come to this ride because of no hookups your really missing out on some of the best riding and most fun rides you can do. I do need to get another jack handle just in case.:rofl3:

Hmm it's a drive from central FL but sounds like a hell of a good time! I'll see what my work schedule is looking like mid-Feb or so. The g/f and I are DOWN for some primitive camping. Wait, you said there are showers right? :rofl3:

Count me in! + 1, possibly more, from central Missouri. FYI, there are no more cabins. I reserved the last one last night. I've heard all the stories and read the threads. Sounds like a blast, looking forward to it!

There are showers.

As mentioned this isn't the Hilton. But didn't we all come to ride not sit in the cabin? If I can get a shower and lay down somewhere I'm good!

The cabin serves two purposes. First, a place to die with dignity. And man, I lost my dignity a Loooooong time ago, so that really doesn't count. Second, a place to adorn my latest gift from Aaron. You will not be disappointed.
And Bruce, I will give and/or lend anything I have, to anyone that needs it. You all know that. Tools, parts, clothing, food, fuel, knowledge, my truck and what little physical strength I have. But not the beer or the bourbon.
OK, you guys can have some of my beer and bourbon.
