Ok guys , I have a 2012 rzr4 800 that is over heating. The temp goes up to 224 at times. I checked the relay under the rear seat and it looked good but I didnt test it. I recently put the UTVinc fan override on it and the temp still goes up. The fan DOES kick on by itself but usually not until its up past 210 F.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to check ?

I'd guess air in system. Burp it really good, wherever the bleed is in the cooling system. Should be at a high point in the cooling system near the engine.

If it's circulating within the pump it never makes it to the radiator.

Oh yeah that sounds hot. I think my fan shuts off at 193.

Mine was doing the same thing when I went to little Saharah last summer. Right before I went i took the rzr to polaris to have it serviced, told them to give her the works and everything. Got to LS and started having over heating issues turns out there was hardly any coolant in it. I figure they would of toped off the coolant when they charge an arm and a leg for a "full service" ill know to check next time forsure

When is the last time you really washed the radiator. It doesn't take much dirt to block the fins. If the fan is running wide open, it doesn't matter if it can't pull air through.

Air in system. There is a valve in the system near the engine to vent air out of the cooling system.

I have a 2011 RZR4 and it has no valve so you need to get the front end as high as you can to get the air to track to the front. I used a funnel that attaches to the radiator and was able to let it idle and that got all the air out.

I just bleeded my system on my rge 10, it was overheating, I put coolant in it after I removed a hose, and didn't bleed it got home and looked for the bleed screw and found one on the thermostat housing, is this the right one, I think I did it right but haven't tried it out
