Hello everybody, I am new to the forum and a first time Polaris Owner. I just purchased a 2012 Rzr s 800 LE from my local dealer and I am in love with this thing. The issue I am having is when I start the RZR (idleing) and while Riding the RZR there is a steady and low volumed beep coming from either the speedometer area or in the vecinity of the passenger seat but I still have yet to pinpoint where it is coming from. Has anyone had this issue? and if so how do I shut it off? Thank You for your time.

its very faint. It comes on when the rzr is idleing and running. But you hear it more when you are standing still rather then riding. I need to see if I can capture the beep on video hopefully it picks up. Does something need to be reset possibly. I am not to familiar with this machine yet to know.

Welcome to the club ! My 2 dealers around here aren't too shabby either, from what i read and learn here on this forum, i told them a few times what to look for when there was a problem. Now that my RZR is no more under warranty, i do everything myself thanks to this forum again.:)

I have the same unit and they have a seat belt light but as far as I know no beeper.

:):brick:I have an idea... try starting it up. get out of the seat and go around the passenger side stick your head under the dash, while its in park push slowly down on the gas pedal. And then you can pinpoint where the beeping is originating from

Liable to get worse as the days go by. Found myself stressing about all these noises coming from all sorts of places when I go slow, different if I go a little faster, much better when I go balls to the wall....

Finally installed a satellite receiver/transmitter and got a set of noise reducing headphones with AM/FM, not hearing any of those weird noises coming from my rzr anymore. :)
