Hello all, im about to pick up a Robbie Gordon Edition RZR4 and was wondering about some changes.. from what i can see both the 2011 RG edition RZR's do NOT have the FOX 2.0 external reservoir shocks. ? is that correct. ?? same travel length but not a 2.0, is this correct...?

also how much weight would the new power steering system add...how come the LE RG black and red RZR has no power steering...but the blue and white regular RG has it.?
Is power steering worth getting ???

I was told and I have read that the only difference between the blue and black 2011 rzr4 is the power steering.

Lots of people have said that the power steering is unnecessary.

From UTV Guide:

RANGER RZR 4 800
Razor Sharp Performance for Four
Key Features
• NEW! Aggressive new front styling that increases airflow by 29%
• NEW! Engine Management System for better driveability and a 30% improvement in range
• NEW! In-cab glove box
• NEW! Easier-to-use side nets

I thought I read somewhere that the fuel tank size increased (30% improvement in range).

wow 10lbs is nothing, if its just 10lbs its a must have option..
That was just a pure guess, I'm no gear head. All I know is i have debated over the LE and the EPS and i just decided for 800.00 i would go with the EPS. I don't think its that big of a deal, but i drove both of them and i did like the EPS very much. I drove the 2010 with my wife and two kids in a small feild where i had to turn alot and i thought the EPS would have been nice.

The power steering really shines when you are stopped and need to turn the wheel to maneuver or going through slow difficult stuff.

After a long day behind the wheel I can feel it in my shoulders!

I highly doubt the OEM is any better than a Unisteer....If, and I say, IF its not the same thing..I dont know, I heard the setup might be in a differant place?? The good news is that I have yet to here of one story about someone having a problem with their power steering.... Its all good to me, I wouldnt trade my EPS for anything...No kidding either..Someone could say..I will give you a topped out WEBER setup---But you can never have EPS..I couldnt do it.. I cant drive without Power steering...(injuries) thats why I had to sell Off all my other stuff!!

Enjoy your Robby Gordon!!

I have the 2011 without the power steering and also have a Rhino without, I personally dont think it is worth all the extra money as it steers way easier than my Rhino.
yeah..but the question is.. Have you actually tried one with the Power Steering? Most who have tested any RZR w/ power steering change that tune pretty quickly...

There are diehards who say they cant justify the $, but the same arguement can be made about any part.....

Its a personal thing.... Up to the driver... Good luck

I have had to turn around in some tight spots and the powers steering was real nice. My main reason for purchase was when wife drove I did not want her to half to struggle at all. At speed and for me who cares but now that I have it and like I said have done some turn arounds on dead ends with trails 65" wide has been real nice.

Yep..I've said it many times..if you don't THINK you want PS..don't ride one...especially not after you buy a non-ps machine. The PS is the poop..and as nice as it is on the RZR....it it is even more of a creature comfort on the ATVS..
After having it on ATVs..I gotta have it on everything..lol.

When I bought my 4 it wasn't available OEM...but I wasn't waiting. So I got the Unisteer..gotta say I was kind of skeptical as I had heard mixed reviews on aftermarket ATV PS units..but so far the Unisteer unit has really impressed me..it is seamless in all aspects...couldn't ask for more IMO...
