2011 HID replacements

Just picked up my '11 today...
Anyone know if the 2010 light sockets are the same on the 2011's. I had them in my 2010 when it was stolen, and am now looking to add them to my 2011...If they aren't the same, where could I get some that'll work?

Thanks,

Thanks, what is this extra cable for, another power hookup?
For those with 55W lamps, if you are not having any issues, which color temp did you go with?

the extra cable is for a direct hook up to the battery. I have the 55 watt 8000 bulbs in my truck and foglights and the 35 watt 6000 bulbs in the rzr, the both look identical
what about getting a better bulb to replace factory? silverstars are usually way better than factory, i will look into it!

because they pull more wattage and draw more power through the wires causeing them to melt, hid dont have hardly and draw at all
Will the Raptor ballast work on the 2011's, or do I need to go with the slim ballast?
Question for someone familiar with the DDM Tuning HID kit;
What parts of the stock headlight wiring do I keep when I install the new (single-beam) HID kit? Do I plug the ballast and the other smaller box into the stock wires going to the headlights? or do I wire it into a switch/relay and then back to the battery, bypassing the entire stock lighting setup?
Thanks.

Thanks, longhair, thats exactly what i was looking for. I could only find the pics of the dual beam with the extra wires.
ddmtuning.com is the customer service King. The tech dept. is very good with trouble shooting. After talking with tech the install went in easy, and made sence. The 55w 6000k on my 2011s has no heat issues, and you can put the 35w 5000k in after market 4" auxillary light housings for an inexpensive and powerful light bar. I have used this system for Five months with no problems after many wash downs.
Did you use the additional wiring harness on the 55 watts?

i'm running 55watt 8000k with no additional wiring.. some people have said to install a larger fuse but i havent had any problem with alot of night riding.
The only harness used is the one that comes with the high low kit.
if i get the DDM 35watt single beam kit will i need the extra wiring harness they sell??
I bought a 55w 6000k dual beam kit locally from a dealer here for 60.00 always on high beam . wasnt totally plug and play had to splce two wires . Easy install and super bright.
Any reason you can't just use a single beam bulb? You would lose the hi's but do you really need them?

No reason . They will work just fine. Only reason I did was the guy I bought mine from sold me the dual beam for the same price as a single.
