Thanks, what is this extra cable for, another power hookup?
the extra cable is for a direct hook up to the battery. I have the 55 watt 8000 bulbs in my truck and foglights and the 35 watt 6000 bulbs in the rzr, the both look identicalthanks, what is this extra cable for, another power hookup?
because they pull more wattage and draw more power through the wires causeing them to melt,hid dont have hardly and draw at allwhat about getting a better bulb to replace factory? Silverstars are usually way better than factory, i will look into it!
either one will work.. i went with the slim ballastWill the Raptor ballast work on the 2011's, or do I need to go with the slim ballast?
check banshee's write up on this!Question for someone familiar with the DDM Tuning HID kit;
What parts of the stock headlight wiring do I keep when I install the new (single-beam) HID kit? Do I plug the ballast and the other smaller box into the stock wires going to the headlights? or do I wire it into a switch/relay and then back to the battery, bypassing the entire stock lighting setup?
Thanks.
i'm running 55watt 8000k with no additional wiring.. some people have said to install a larger fuse but i havent had any problem with alot of night riding.Did you use the additional wiring harness on the 55 watts?

No reason . They will work just fine. Only reason I did was the guy I bought mine from sold me the dual beam for the same price as a single.Any reason you can't just use a single beam bulb? You would lose the hi's but do you really need them?
