Who went? How was it? Carnage? First timers?

This is probably my favorite track. I love the corn field. Its a great all around track. The machine surivied pretty well. The dust was an issue but they did a good job watering what they could get at. I had a blast. My wife liked it too. She was really happy to be out of western NY 's gloomy rain for a few days.

I was there and it was my first gncc race the only thing I did not like was starting in row 16 and running in open mod that did not make sense to me.the pilots were 4 rows ahead of me not sure why I was so far back.other than that it was fun but running a rzr s there were spots that were tight.Lost 4wd and throttle kept sticking wide open had to pull over few times a stomp on pedal to get it un done.will be back for ironman next year and maybe a few other races will have to see how far away they are.

Starting on row 16 sucks. We had a bigger turn out then they expected. In 2008 there were only five rows. It was a mad dash to the first turn that just turned into a huge pile up every time. If I was doing it I would have kept selling row five and and started ghost rows. I don't know if you know how the elapsed time works but its possible to win overall from row 16 without actually passing anyone. Each row is started ten secounds apart and then they subtract ten secounds per row from your overall time. I won the overall at ironman last year from row ten. Your just have to have lap times on par with the leaders.

Not sure I understand how the scoring works. If you complete the race, then elapsed time should be over on hour on the results right? They only show 5 laps and 55 minutes for elapsed times. Does that mean that our last lap wasn't recorded, like we didn't finish?
Pilots should start at the rear. They bottleneck and makes it harder on those starting on rows 14-16 in RZR's.

They plan out a certain number of rows per class prior to the race. So if the fill up like open mod did then they just put them at the back. Its not the best plan. I will bring it up in the riders meeting. If you know you did six laps and it says 5 then there was a scoring issue. The elapsed time is ussually around an hour. It deppends on what the leaders lap times are. But all laps ussualy count.

yeah, definately did 6 laps and it only shows 5 with total elapsed time of 55 minutes. If you finish, total elapsed time should always be over 60 minutes? I mean, if you pass at 55min, then they send you for another lap, that last lap would be over 60 minutes.
People that went thru finish line after my lap 5 had their 6th lap recorded. Just confusing.
Not a big deal as I wasn't after points, but unfair and definately seems like there is a problem.
As I told others, we were just doing some aggressive trail riding While there was a race going on, lol.

I was running the yellow and white redbull rzr #541 in the 9th row and dont you think it would be better to put 10 or 15 on a line i mean i know i tumbled on the start but when i went through the finish after my first lap it said i was in second in the open limited class how does that work?

I would definitely like to take a look at that. As long as your motor and frame numbers match then anything goes. Lol you were in secound because you had a faster lap time then anyone else. I have won races with secound place in front of me cause he started a row ahead of me.
