Hello Everyone, I bought a 2009 RZR 800. It needed CV Joints and the guy threw in 4 brand new ones. It needs a little other work, but overall i got a decent price and can do the work myself. Problem is IO dont know that much about them. When I bought it it looked cool and had 27" tires. When my buddy said his fit in the back of a pickup I said no way mine would just by eyeballing it. Anyway it has a lift kit or widening kit, and I measured the axles and they are too short. I need to get some new axles or use the CV joints off the new ones on the old axle shafts, but one is really bad welded up and stuff. I tried Google and couldnt find a kit that looked like this one. Can anyone identify if this is maybe an old model of a Super ATV lift or Highlifter please?

Man that thing looks rough.
How wide is it?
Have you compared it to stock measurements?

Im of no help unfortunately with answering your questions about what you have.

I just did a measure from outside tire to outside tire and got 63 1/2 inches. I did try and take a measure of CV shaft and it is longer than stock but cant tell by how much. Yeah its a bit beat up, but you dont get allot for 4k.

Check the axle shafts for an engraved part number. If they're ours, the part number should be engraved somewhere around the center of the shaft. If you pop one of the axles out and get me a fully compressed and fully extended measurement, I can figure out what you need. Here's how to measure the axle.

I was able to pull a front and a rear. I hope this thing isnt as bad as it seems. One front shaft didnt have a circlip on it. I did pull them out and take some measurements. I really think they look like stock S axles. The shafts arent any bigger than my stock 800s. I took pics to show them beside the new stock ones that arent going to fit :(

F Ext 25 1/4"
F Comp 24"

R Ext 23 1/2"
R Comp 21 1/2

Axle Diameter
F .95
R .95

Of course it had to be the most expensive kit LOL. I will go to your website and try and get some boot kits and fix these up by cleaning and rebooting. I assume I can get parts like CV Joints Boots etc. I thought I had a bad rear CV Joint, but I found the wheel had 1 lugnut and was loose... I hope this isnt how the whole project is going to go.

Lol! Its an oddball, but an awesome kit. I'm not absolutely positive those are our axles. If they are, they'll have a part number engraved into the side. You'll need that to get a matching boot or CV. If not, I'd recommend a fresh set of 2.0s. We don't have a ton of the older original Rhino replacement axle parts left for some of the oddball kits like that. See if you can find a part number on the shaft, and give us a call at 855-743-3427 and we'll see what we can find.

Where would the part number be engraved? Is it right on the axle shaft itself somewhere between the inboard and outboard end? How deep is the engraving? If I go over the axle with some sandpaper to clean it up will it erase it? I wonder if these might be the original Rhino axles and not the 2.0's because the shaft size seems the same as stock.

If its a rhino, the number is engraved on the shaft between the cups, middle of the shaft running the length of the shaft. It is very obvious to the naked eye. If its not there, then you dont have rhino axles.
