It almost not even noticeable in person, and my bed has stopped filling up with mud so far.

 

looks good for you mud guys. Not so good for me since mine will never see mud. Dunes and race track dragging a 3000+ HP promod so I won't need it.

Is it just rubber matting cut to size?

 

conveyor belt, just rubber would not hold it shape and sag.

 

what did you use to cut it with? that craps pretty tough isn't it?

 

Fronts Done! They look good but work great at keeping the mud off.

hehe, yeah the mud was all in the rzr. i know that it just gonna happen but this really helps keep a lot out. In person its not so noticeable. i will take a overall shot later.

I am not partial to the look but from the 1/2 hr I just spent washing and scooping mine out I wished I had a set. The bed was full the cab was full and mud was everywhere. We have a sand plant so belting is not hard to come by for me.

 

X2 but with the thick mud we get around here ive washed the RZR 2-3 times and when its dry still find mud ive missed...you could also fiberglass the fender and the rubber to make it even...then paint>good weekend project!!or not!!:rofl3:

True...I looked again, and thats not as thick as what I was thinking of. I was thinking of that industrial coal mining conveyor belt. That stuffs heavy!

 

hacksaw is all i had that would cut it.

 

You did a good job, I like the final product. It really turned out nice.

 

I love the look of the stock S flares but I pay for it with mud in the face...good mod, gets the job done...I'll have something similar next duck season.

 

I like the mod, at least for your intended uses. I'm much more in to function and dependability than looks though.

That said, for the type riding I do, even those stock S flares would be something that would probably get pulled off right away. I find myself having trouble with stuff hanging up on the sides all the time. In fact, I broke the base on a seat trying to quickly move sideways out of the way of a branch that was getting ready to unload off the roll bar. Luckily, it didn't end up ripping my head off or punching through my shoulder.

 

I like it... Function is 1st over anything else...

 

nice job on the flairs,great minds think alike, made a set just like yours about a month ago after searchin on line for factory ones.i used 1/8 in.belt for a combine. bought it at tractor supply,a little pricey,35 bucks for a 5 ft. piece, but it worked great.

 

Looks good, should be able to take a bit of abuse before it would rip off.

 

that mud looks so deep and lots of it. i dont think anything would stop it from hitting you. so with the flares you didnt get that muddy ?
