2017 xp1000 showing a cylinder 2 misfire code and also showing its running rich. I changed the plugs and still has the misfire. I read somewhere that an exhaust leak could be make if it run rich and there fore making a misfire is there any truth to that?

It would not. Didn’t realize it is missing at idle.... definitely fix the exhaust leak. See if that fixes it. If not, I would check for spark, check wires/coil. Check out your fuel pressure, injectors, check for air leaks at throttle body boots.
If all checks good move on to compression check and valve clearance.
Do you have the code # that popped up?

520344 which is the Adaptive Fuel Correction Too Rich, 65590 and 65592 with a 7 under it.

The 520344 will most likely be from your exhaust leak. It could also be a fuel pump issue. Check pressure. I would fix leak first then drive around in low gear above 4 k rpms for a few minutes. A lot of times it will clear out the codes. If they come back, I would trouble shoot cylinder 2. According to the codes you are only missing on that cylinder.
