new clutch? Can you take a picture of the serial number sticker on the front diff if you find a 16? I'm wondering if they are still making them out of plastic parts on the inside like the 15
I would go for the 2015 if you can find a color you like because you should be able to save a lot of money over a 2016 with the rebate and discount (depending on where you are located). One local dealer here in western PA is blowing out his remaining 2015's for just under $17,000. Not as good as Abernathy's price but also not 11 hours away. Use the savings for some accessories which you most likely will add at some point. The machines are basically the same.
Don't know if it's true or not, but I just bought a 2016 RZR 4 1000 and the dealer told me all 2016 models had the aluminum sprague.
He said that was a benefit of the 2016 over the 2015 and he wanted me to take a 2015 2 seater off his hands very badly. Therefore, I wouldn't think he would have lied to get me into the 2016.
He probably wasn't lying to you, but he's is more likely misinformed. When they went from the aluminium sprague to the plastic they changed the part number, so it would make sense that if they went the other way the part number would change again.
Sounds like you would know more than me about it. He mentioned being at the show where they revealed the 2016 models though, so if he was incorrect, it was probably intentional.
