Curious if anyone has attempted to add a 12V plug to a RZR 170 and if so where did you splice into? My son added a RAM mount for his Garmin 450T to his 170 and I'm sick of replacing batteries. I was thinking splicing into the ignition but did not know if the charging system would accomodate the extra draw even as small as it would be? Any thoughts other that buying stock in Energizer?

For something like a gps, I'd just run a dedicated circuit from the battery. I installed a stereo and spliced into a keyed circuit from the ignition because I didn't want the kids to leave it on without the engine running. A gps draws so little, it could be left on for days before draining the battery.
