how much compression should a bone stock plain jane rzr have with 224 miles and 27 hours have,i bought it used and air cleaner had a palmful of dust in it,does have the supposedly fixed air cleaner on it,previous owner never cleanded it,seems to run good, i have been reading your horror stories on dust,what is lowest compression can be to not have bad top end or dust damage,and what should it be on average no dust damage,should you let it crank all the compression you can get in gauge to check it,and should you put a couple of drops of oil in spark plug hole for good reading because of all the fuel you pump into cylinder and partially unseal it while doing first cylinder cranking alot repeatedly checking it?

it should be between 150-170 lbs per the manual. I don't add oil and You need to crank it to get a about 5 compression strokes.
The only reason to put oil in the cylinder is to determine if low compression is due to rings or valves. If it's worn rings the oil temporarily seals the rings and compression increases. If it's a leaking valve the oil would have no effect on compression.

165 lbs no throttle cranking several revolutions both cylinders,185 lbs wide open throttle cranking several revolutions,i think its good,the really dirty air box scared me,new air box and filter on way from a guy who started manufacturing them with alum billet brackets that mount to engine and everything to mount in stock postion that are water proof and look more like original than drf or ump that connect to factory inlet or have piece included to mount snorkel kit with donaldson filter or he has a list of other filters that will fit in it such as wix or opti -air for $245 with money back guarantee if you dont like it ,he told me to pack it back up and send it back for refund,i thought you couldnt beat that check them out and pass it on heres the link,thanks for replys www.dlmachineinc.com/products/products.htm
