Tuner Questions

I have a 2018 HL edition RZR, and i think I need to get a tuner. Not so much for the added power, but I have 33 BKTs and any time I'm stuck in thick mud I end up burning my belt in reverse from the de-tuning the factory does for that gear.

1. Will your programmer remove the limiter and give me all my power in reverse? I know why they did this and not worried since I already upgraded to your super wide reverse chain.

2. It looks like you don't offer a tuner option for the 2018+ HL edition RZRs. The lady on the phone told me it's still in development. Do you have an idea when the tuner will be available for my model?

Hey! The tune will definitely give you more power in revers and remove all the limiters. We haven't released it for the 2018 HL yet, but we're dropping about 20 new tunes around September 18th when the next batch of handheld units is finished up. That one is definitely on the list. Remind me in about 2 weeks and I'll make sure you get a little discount when its ready to ship.

Sounds good, I can wait until then since my next ride isn't until Oct. Would definitely be happy to get a discount code. Also, do you know if they will still be marked down to $299 when the new ones come out, or will they go back up?

Price should be the same, and I'll keep it there for you if it changes. Just shoot me a message in about 2 weeks and I'll get you covered.

Any updates? I'm getting antsy and want to make sure I get one before you sell out. I'm sure I'm not the only '18, '19 HL RZR owner that is waiting for you guys to offer this up.

Hey! We have a tune ready, but haven't been able to get one in the shop to test it out yet. They don't want to release it till we get some specific dyno numbers and make sure the stock flash is accurate. Still working on finding one locally.

Understood. My next ride is a big one in mid October. I have to have the reverse limiter gone by then. Do you see this getting released by that time?

We really hope so. We have some feelers out locally, and we keep an eye out at some of the events near us for a machine to try it out on.

Stock up on axles when you get the tuner.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

Re: Tuner Questions

What tuner works for the 2018 RZR 1000 4? Forum discount on them? A SuperATV rep commented that you should call and confirm the right tuner. Thanks...

Curious on why the increase axle wear?

Re: Tuner Questions

Not wear,,you will have extra power and torque that you might break some axles.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.
