Noobie with noobie question.
I can't seem to figure out what makes a cage a radius cage or not one. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a radius cage compared to a non-radius cage?
it is all in looks a true radius cage has no straight pipe every pipe has a bend.. but some say if top pipes have a (bend radius) than it is a radius cage
I would refer to any cage to being just that... a cage.. If it happens to have pipe that has a radius to it (any part of it has a curve), it's still a cage, just one that has a radius bent pipe in it lol.
Radius Cage is just a marketing term to me. Indicates one or more of the fitted pipes have a curve. Also the tool used to bend the pipe is called a radius bender. So the phrase derived from that.
They wouldn't call it curve cage. Unless that appeals to you. /shrug
It's late.. mumbling...
Peace...
