Improvements from 16-19 xpt

Anyone notice any real improvements from the 16 -19 xpt other than the obvious ones, hp, radiator, gauges? Is the suspension any better? Clutching? Thanks

evo stage2 tune, evo bov, osp clutch kit, Polaris half windshield, Polaris roof, siezmik mirrors, prp door bags, trinity stage5 exhaust, 3p shims, a little rubber bendy pink panther dude hanging on the roll cage for dear life! and I'm sure I'm missing some stuff.

I don't think suspension has changed but clutching is much improved in the new models. The '16 clutch can be upgraded to match the clutch in the new ones.

Depends on what you have and what you want. The Dynamix suspension is a huge improvement in my book.

Anything that was a weakness in 16 is gone in the 19.

Dosnt look like I can find a dynamix in our area. We didn't have any complaints about the 16 suspension. Thought it rode great.

One has to dig to even find them on the Polaris website. I truly love my Dynamix. Not only suspension but the ride command. All the features are so worth the price.

Re: Improvements from 16-19 xpt

2016 - First year issues. Smaller injectors, fuel pump, clutch issues, overheating, pretty long list. The least desirable year.

2017 - More power and Polaris address all the 1st year issues, new clutch, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, completely redesigned radiator and front end, variable speed cooling fan, new steering rack, triple piston brakes, new digital instrument cluster. All turbos this year has the Fox Internal Bypass shocks. Probably the best year non-dynamix turbo made.

2018 - Polaris felt the pressure from the market to lower the price of the rzr's, specifically the Turbo to make room for the new Dynamix model. So, they made the base Turbos cheaper. The base model Turbo gets regular 1k Walker Evans suspension. They introduced a Fox Edition (which is much like the 17 model), and the new Dynamix.

2019 - New front end design, with cool ascent lighting. Upgraded instruments and improved Ride Command. 2019 also has a new clutch cover with improved clutch cooling. Introduction of the Turbo S model for those that want 72" wide machine.

Well. It sounds like the 19 won't ride as well as our 16 did then.

Your 16 has more expensive Fox Internal Bypass suspension that the base 19 does not have. Does the Fox suspension ride better than the Walker Evans? I can't answer that, but I really like my Fox Internal Bypass shocks and they cost about $2k more than Walker, so one would hope so.

If you were to get a Dynamix edition RZR's, I think there could be some ride improvements. Otherwise if ride quality is all you are considering, not much to be had that your 16 doesn't have. I'd spend the money on Shock Therapy dual rate spring setup.

Re: Improvements from 16-19 xpt

Thanks for the response. Our 16 was a good machine for us.. so if the 19 rides as well as the 16. Along with all the other upgrades, I'm sure we will be happy with it.

I have a 19 xp4t “No Dynamix & No Ride command” my best friend has a 16. Mine has the Evan walker his is the Fox I don’t really notice a difference other than mine looks newer lol. Suspension feels good in both. Performance is comparable but he has a Tuner. Mine is bone stock
