I understand that, but when I have multiple people blowing belts with his kit and OSP has been no help it would be nice to know the rates. Almost every manufacturer of springs list their rates. Valve springs, coil springs, pretty much any high performance spring. I'm supposed to buy a product and when it doesn't work be told I'm doing something wrong and have no way to fix it? I don't like clutch kit's for this exact reason. I just wanted to know the rate so we could adjust from there. I could see if it was a custom helix, or custom tune, but a spring rate? I'm not trying to save money, actually I bought every secondary spring on the market and I'm loaning them out for people to try. I have nothing to gain from this, I'm just a gear head that loves the sport. It was really a simple question no need for the hostility. And for any one that wants some clutching tips I'll share what I got, except with you. Lol No just kidding I'll help you too.

Re: OSP big tire secondary spring rate

I called em the other day and they asked me what's wrong. I told em I was blowing belts they were getting way too hot. So I was told to add weight to the primary I did it helped a bunch Tim . He told me to check the temp of the primary and the secondary after a run the secondary was way hotter !! I told him he said call in a couple weeks we just might have a helix to help. So now I am thinking engine braking is causing it to heat up ?? We're on the same side I I I sorry

Are you getting full shift out? I turned the secondary limiter down to almost coil bind. Next time you have your clutch apart drop the limiter and helix in and study what's going on. I think it's hitting the limiter and it heating up the belt. Secondary can't open any more and the primary with all the weight pulls the belt apart. I've only broke one belt and I was being hateful to it. I had lost 4wd and was trying to climb straight up rock face.

Re: OSP big tire secondary spring rate

I also think most clutch kits all use similar springs depending on what you are doing is the only factor.. but the weighted arms are a lot different in there ramp levels
