Head unit/Audio speakers recommendations?

Hey folks new member here, also first time sxs owner. Just got a 2019 turbo s velocity and was looking at adding a audio system to it. After some googling I hardly found a solid solution just looking for a head unit and speakers mainly. A lot of the options I found were for the turbo s with the ride command already installed, so I havenít had much luck any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

Head unit/Audio speakers recommendations?

Well off the top of my head... SSV, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Dunertunes, MTX Audio, Swamp Donkey or you can do you own with a Bluetooth knob or standard head unit.

With mine I did a head unit in the dash with four 6.5Ē. Two in SSV pods for the rear and two in the front doors.

Re: Head unit/Audio speakers recommendations?

So if your ride commandless.... I would look no further than the
Rockford Fosgate (non ride command) system.

You can taylor it for 2-3 or 4 speakers.. and upgrade the head unit to the PMX3 and it gives you flexibility for XM Radio-and a back-up camera.
They have upgraded the amplifier for 2019 so your sound is crisp and clean at any listing level with zero distortion.....

I have pic's of the unit I installed in my 2019 RZR- Rockford Fosgate did a great job of providing a custom look to the head unit where the ride command generally sit's if you wanna take a look.

Here is the PMX 3 head unit location it's only a $20.00 upgrade from the standard PMX2 .(at least that what I paid)
They look the same the PMX2 just doesn't have the option for XM or back-up camera.
FYI- it's XM ready ( seems like all head units are going this way these days)- So a person will need the separate tuner and antenna kit.

That looks awesome!! I found the radio, did you order a housing for that head unit to make it look so clean or did you just custom cut it to fit that flush?

Nope the Rockford Fosgate comes with a mounting kit and everything is included to make it look factory.... Just make sure you order the non-ride command kit.
FYI-You do loose the top storage compartment in the dash though.. Not a big deal for me anyway.

Re: Head unit/Audio speakers recommendations?

I have the ride command and chose to go with a separate head unit. I don't trust the reliability of the ride command units. Mine has already been replaced once.
I went with the Rockford Fosgate PMX3. My entire system is RF, stage 4, and sounds amazing.
The PMX3 is a nice controller.

Hey guys I ended up going for the Rockford Fosgate stage 3 for my turbo.. little expensive but seems like it’s gonna be a plug and play installation. In the mean time I’ve installed a front and rear bumper from super atv and I have a full skid plate package coming from ricochet off road!!
