Rockford Fosgate for Ride Command

Has anyone installed the newish Stage 4 system from RF made specifically to interface with Ride Command?
https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...zr14rc-stage4/

The package comes with their Ride Command adaptor and they specifically mention it reduces noise from the Dynamix system. https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...ls/rfpol-rc34/

Looking for confirmation that this will work as advertised before purchasing.

Thanks!

Re: Rockford Fosgate for Ride Command

I recently installed a Stage 4 in my 4 S. But I chose not to run it through the ride command and installed the PMX3 head unit, so unfortunately I can't directly answer your question, but I do not have any noise in my system.

I still hear white noise when the system is on and the volume is down.

It's seems like that when your looking at just numbers.. But when you hear it the new amp is so, so much cleaner than the amp from the 600 watt day's

Those numbers are called specifications and they mean something. Yes efficiency and SQ has improved but 400w still equals 400w. Thatís just not enough juice to go around for a clean sounding system at higher volumes. If your happy with it thatís fine. I personally would get just the rear cans with 8Ē speakers, a 10Ē sub/box, and a decent amp

Re: Rockford Fosgate for Ride Command

The new amps have better sound that the old ones from the earlier design. The Rockford rep told me that the 400w amps are actually higher output than the older 600w amps because the specification is tighter. I can get more info if anyone is interested.

Re: Rockford Fosgate for Ride Command

I was worried about the new system being only 400w, but it has plenty of volume. I can hear the music perfectly clear with a helmet on and ripping the dunes at speed.

There are a couple of XPT's in our group that have the 600w system that sound good. I bought mine from Craig @ ProUTV and expressed concern over the 400w vs the old 600w model. It puts out good quality sound and I think is just as loud if not louder than the 600w system, which is what RF told Craig.

I am not disappointed in the least with the 400w system.
