Any word on 2020 Turbo S changes ?

Hello, after checking out the 2019 Turbo S at The King of the Hammers. I decided to sell my 16 XPTurbo. It took a few months but I was successful with my sale.
I ready to purchase a new rig and was wondering if there has been any discussions on the 2020's ? Any possible changes ? Possible mechanical upgrades ect. . .
Like when the 2017's came out after I bought my 16 the price Dropped $2,500.
Thanks in advance .

The rumors are something bigger and more powerful with no CVT transmission. The ‘20s should be released in July I think, so at this point I’d wait if I were you.

I don’t think there is any solid info other than assumptions and guesses, mixed in with a prototype photo living out there fueling the guesses. I am hoping this is the year they release an x3 killer. The turbo s is not a x3 killer but rather a x3 competitor. With that I want to see 200 hp, completely redesign from ground up, 21-24” of true wheel travel, improved ergonomics and finally a direct drive transmission (no more changing and blowing belts)!

Re: Any word on 2020 Turbo S changes ?

Saw polaris boys testing an inline 4 banger rear engine last March.
Loud as hell, no turbo, no shifting either, definitely some kind of cvt.
They had two of them in the s chassis 2 seat with Walker shocks.
Who knows if any of this stuff will make it to production, but it's cool to see.

Lol, I hope not. But that does seem to be the direction they’re going.

"evolution not revolution" expect to see refinements and changes to increase profitability. Same for Can Am for the next couple of years

I hope not but I may have to agree that this is the most logical / and traditional step for POL
It is good and bad.....but one thing I love ...so far ... is I can usually change out most of my aftermarket parts onto the new machine and the new stock parts onto the old machine ..the new buyer gets a great deal and it also works well for me ...this is major when you are talking between 10 , or 20 grand worth of upgrades and accessories that you would otherwise be wasted .!!!
This is a point that I think is a must ....if I had to start all over again and buy to many new accessories .. ...I dont think I would be able to justify it.

Currently my only big disappointment ..is the reduction of gear ratio in the 2018 xpt and other new xp & T models ....I am spending money to fix a problem that I did not have in my last 2016 xp 1000 ...and I did go from the stock clutch on the 2016 to the Boondocker big clutch kit as well ...of coarse many other points are better on the 2018 xpt ....but if POL is going to go for less dollars to produce in general ....I hope it does not continue at the lack of hard core internals like the trans or motor ,drive train...ECT...
I can / we can still all build on a solid / stable platform year to year. if you dont totally start over

Well I found one of the last Red Turbo 4S left in Ca. So I decided to jump ahead. Hopefully 2020 won’t bring me regrets 🤠
