What makes you think that cage is any better?

Yes they do make an aftermarket cage but unfortunately a lot things will not work with such as roofs, doors and windows just to name a few.
But it would be something or at least offer the option to do there cage or a voucher.

I agree with Frazr, what makes this any better. I would bet it’s still thin wall crap!
It drives me crazy when they will not show the specs on the after market cage the offer.

Hope so, I’m not waiting around on them to sell me on there fix with the hope that all my accessories will still work.
I am just having a quality cage built and just go on with it.
I wonder how many POPO employees have bought one of these and are cool with parking it until they resolve the issue?
Or maybe they could offer a buy one get half off a ranger to use for backup!

If you do any type of aggressive driving it's a good idea to go aftermarket regardless of this service bulletin.

I would think everyone who owns one of these drives them pretty aggressive (why buy the S model if you're going to putt it around).

If you are willing to wait until they get a resolution that’s what I would do to.
But I am not willing to wait until September before I find out if my accessories will work with there proposed fix.
And certainly not willing to park it for 2 months.

Re: Turbo S recall info Please read .

For what we paid for these machines and the Turbo S being the flagship model, Polaris should provide us with a loaner vehicle for our "loss of use". Especially since they cannot say when or what the fix is.
$27.5k paper weight sitting in a lot of garages right now.

Re: Turbo S recall info Please read .

This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. You would think something like a roll cage on their highest performance model wouldn't be a part overlooked. It'll be interesting to see how they fix this issue. It better be significant after issuing a "do not ride" on a 27k machine...

Re: Turbo S recall info Please read .

Im not saying the cage would be any better, probably made from the same tubing, but it's something they can offer or replace for free to get you back out on the trails. OR why not just replace all the cages with the standard XP1K and regular Turbo cage. Just thinking out loud since there doesn't seem to be a fix currently...

The cages are different. If you look at the link for their aftermarket cage you posted earlier, it does not show the Turbo S as being one that it fits.

That’s not to say a 1000 cage won’t fit as I haven’t tried to put one on a Turbo S.

My understanding is the rear angle is different, but not positive.
