3236047 K-Seal Repair

Having to replace the right front axle due to something hitting the guard and destroying the boot. Filling full of sand is not really recommenced. In process find the front diff seal has been leaking. By the Polaris parts list it take a 3236047 K-Seal Repair for $84.99. Say again, $85 for two seals???!!! Any one have a better price for front diff seals. 2018 Dynamix with 28 spline axle.

Pull the seal and match it at your local bearing shop or google the size and order one. None of them are proprietary sizes and you can probably get them for $5-10 each. I order seals online all the time if the bearing shop doesn’t have them.

Re: 3236047 K-Seal Repair

Sure it's the seal and not the freeze plug in the hub?

Re: 3236047 K-Seal Repair

Are you referring to the hub the axle spines slip into at the diff, and it has a freeze plug in the diff side?

If so. Not positive. Did not know there was a way for oil to get out other than the seal. Replaced seal. Will keep and eye on it and if it still leaks will have to dig deeper.

By the way. The seal kit is a kit with all the seals, o rings etc to rebuild the diff.

Yes the splined area. It isn’t a solid piece but has a plug on the back that tends to leak.
