GPS Antenna

Where is the GPS antenna located? Wondering if the connection has come loose and don't know where it is located. Thanks.

In front of radiator. Pull hood, black and flat. Easy to see.

If it is working sometimes and then searching for satellites other times, mine is the same exact way. It won’t be a loose connection but a problem with your GPS antenna. I’ve noticed were some guys are taking them back to the dealer and getting new GPS antennas and it’s fixing the problem now.

Re: GPS Antenna

Have you done the December 2017 software update? Some say that fixed the problem, but I am having trouble downloading the update on flash drive. Says it needs to be FAT 32 format and I am not a computer geek. Frustrated. It seems to be on the flash drive but I am afraid to plug it in to ride command. Afraid it will mess up the whole thing if it isn't formatted correctly. Wish Polaris would come up with easier way to do this. Dealer wants us to bring to digitally update it but want to keep it several days and we have a ride in one day coming up.

Search on your computer operation system for HD formatting. Easy to do. Are you a PC or MAC?

Re: GPS Antenna

When I first bought my Rzr the GPS stopped working, I unplugged the antenna at the antenna and plugged it back in and it started working again and has been ever since. I've heard of others doing the same thing with the same results, I'd suggest trying that first.
