Comfort setting not very comfortable

Hey just curious if anyone else thought the ride was extremely bumpy. I went riding Saturday and going down trails with some tree roots and slightly uneven terrain I was bouncing out of my seat. Ride felt extremely stiff. Just curious what others thought? Was dissatisfied with that setting

The factory top springs will always be collapsed .They are tender springs who's only function is keeping the bottom spring in the cup when the wheels come off the ground or when the suspension is fully extended .

Trust me. I am not saying a dynamix car is not revolutionary. I just bought one yesterday. I just know they use the same shocks, same valving and springs. How could it ride smoother then a regular fox edition one turned all the way soft? It can’t. The fact that it adjusts on the fly is huge! And I can’t wait to get mine out in the wild!

even with the fox live valve and bottom out control on the dynamix this does not mean the car is setup correctly right from the dealer lot for everyone.
Correctly setting the preload, adding crossover true dual rate stops then also replacing the upper or lower springs for the riding type and weight being added to the car will surly be worth the effort to achieve the desired ride comfort.

Hey FJK. Did the Dynamix come with the crossover rings or was that added by Shock Therapy? I would have thought the Dynamix would have been pretty good stock and you would not need the ST treatment. Big difference?

Man I tried to take the front shocks off. I couldn’t even get a wrench or socket on the top back side bolt near radiator. Even if I did it was so crammed I wouldn’t be able to get enough torque on it to loosen it. I have doubts I can get the front shocks off to send to st or put the springs on myself. Did you have to loosen up a lot off the front of the razor before getting front shocks off ?

I agree with everyone about Polaris collapsed tender spring. I don't understand why they ship out a machine like that. Being said, I rode 1000's of miles on Polaris springs and the machines performed fine with the occasional bottom out, hard hit, nose dive into rocks, trees, etc. I bought into the Shock Therapy springs on my last 1000Xp and now I have the Dynamix in which I put shock therapy springs on within the first 400 miles. Yes, they are 800.00, but you'll never nose dive, you shouldn't bottom out on a dynamix in Firm, you'll have a smoother ride over small bumps and in chop and an overall increased confidence in the machine comfort and performance. I see many people with 1500-2500 into a stereo, spend less on letting people hear you and more on enjoying how you ride.
I think if Polaris would ever gets a larger, bigger tender spring and have the springs adjusted to work as they should, you wouldn't need shock therapy springs.
You don't want that top tender spring compressed, its designed to absorb the small hits and bumps, but because its compressed the big stiff spring does all the work which is why the machines ride rough.

Even adjusting preload settings on stock springs will not solve the ride quality issue. A Dual Rate Spring Kit or Stage 3 Revalve Kit is the only way to achieve true Ride Quality, Enhanced Control, Ride Height and eliminate Bottoming. Strongly suggest you look into a Dual Rate Spring Kit for the FOX LiveValve Dynamix Shocks for optimal performance. We offer a 2 seater and 4 seater spring kit.
