Has any one swaped out the rear gear box for the international gear box?

Has any one swaped out the rear gear box on their xp for the international gear box?

This would allow the rear axle to unlock much like the international unlocking rear diff I put on my RZRs.
I checked with my dealer today and we looked up the international rear gear box and it shows the solenoid to unlock the axels.
It did not show a price.

Well Tim I have my name on a list unless you can get me one for less, Either way it will be pimped out in some UTV inc bling. But this is why I an doing my home work for all that I need.

why do you want to unlock the rear diff?? just currious. wouldnt that give you less traction?

Ive heard of people doing this on the regular 800s. Not on the 900s though. I would assume anything is possible. Always thought it would be nice. The Ranger comes with it. Awesome for pulling trailers around the yard, loading it on asphalt, etc...

This would be nice for me too-------- Much less wear and tear on tires and drive line while on pavement. I will be watching for you guys to "crack the nut" on this one.....

2011 RZR 900XP with a bunch of bolt on stuff and the POPO HO kit...

Don't test drive it unless you are prepared to spend the money to do the conversion. Because once you try it you will want it. Add PS and you will be in heaven.

As far as the 900 conversion goes you can buy the international for about 1750$.

Or maybe the original one can be retrofitted. If you look at the parts diagram for the international and domestic it looks like they are the same except for one gear cluster.

The question is can that gear cluster be added the original if so you would also have the drill and tap the case for the solenoid .

Also would you have to change out the axel like on the 800 conversion.
