Re: problem with my primary clutch

Is there a plastic washer sitting on top of the spider nut? If not then the clutch probably over traveled at top speed and two halves touched.

On the spider nut backing off, that just happens sometimes, the whole clutch has to come apart and back together again to fix it right.

no plastic washer the spider nut was completely unscrewed.
I can not exceed 90km / h with setup stage 2 with dalton clutch.

Re: problem with my primary clutch

Get one of our std white washers, take the clutch apart and put it back together is the only way to fix the nut situation right, or if lots of miles just get a new clutch

Re: problem with my primary clutch

I'm torn. New 900 EPS Trail. Wondering if I should do the clutch upgrade from HWorks before even using it (new) or run what I have and replace/upgrade once it's shot

Only thing to do on a new one is put our round rollers in the secondary so the square ones do not ruin it.

What was you talking about upgrading?

I assumed the primary belt and then the rollers in the secondary, but I'll go to your web site and order the rollers to start.
BTW I have learned a lot and enjoyed your DIY videos
Thanks!

Re: problem with my primary clutch

does not look good to me and don't bend belts backwards, they will crack

Not deformed, that is how they look when cooled down in that position on the clutches
