2013 900xp eps big bore 975 what else is needed

Hi iv been reading a lot about the 900 xp and I recently bought a 2013 900 xp I love it the guy said it used oil so I got a good deal being a mechanic I am planning a rebuild it’s all stock. I was hoping someone could tell me what it would take on top of running a big bore 975 upgrade. Would a clutch, header, intake all be needed? I’m gunna run 10.5:1 compression but I don’t want a loud ride cause of the kids. So if I could run the stock exhaust or an exhaust similar in sound would be great.i plan on building a mudder 28 or 30 inch bkt tires so I want it to run cool going slow so would a turbo on this small of a motor help cool it or will it heat more. Sorry for all the questions I’m a diesel mechanic not a high rpm small engine guy lol. I live in Minnesota and plan on mudding with it and the kids.

The factory airbox has been known to not seal completely, could be valve guides/seals, rings/cylinders causing the oil consumption.
How many miles?
These machines have plenty of power to spin 28-30's when clutched properly

Divit I just rolled over 2100 miles when I got it the air filter was filled with mud so I tore the whole intake system down and cleaned it. changed out the oil and filters it reads good compression but the leak down test fails. So iv been pondering pulling the head and having it rebuilt and taking the pistons out to see what they look like. Just haven’t messed with much for gas engines. It’s not much for oil use. Iv noticed that the vent tube is pushing all my oil out of it. Like it’s building to much pressure from the rings being bad? Is their a valve on the vent tube? To help prevent the oils from coming out of the vent tube or a screen?

Lots of places on line, even Amazon and all are priced about the same. Just Google S^B Particle Seperator.

If you didn't know already, you'll need to replace the rods if you go 975. Most people go with Carillo's.

That sounds like a good approach. I have the 935 kit on mine with about 500 miles on the rebuild and it blows a little smoke out the vent until it warms up. I'm running a prefilter with the factory airbox and just greased the edges of the factory filter element, its clean inside now.
