Fuel controller went bad

I was out for a ride today, it seemed to be running really well. After about an hour and a half it lost power. I got it home and it fouled a plug and was running rich. You could see the raw fuel coming out the exhaust. After it was turned of I could hear on of the injectors clicking. I unplugged the controller and it stopped. I took it out, changed the plug and it runs fine now. I guess it's time to look for a new controller.

Re: Fuel controller went bad

Did a lot of Dyno testing on the XP900. They seem to run a little rich from the factory. Even adding more air flow to the motor with our "Double Down" intake kit, a piggy back fuel controller was not needed and A/F ratio maintained a safe level. I would try running without it, do a few speed runs and check the condition of your plugs. If they look coco brown then your good to go. I think that's what your going to see....
Regards,

Mark

Thanks for the info dmcmark. The only performance mods are a full sparks exhaust. I had it out and it runs good. It seems ok I'm gonna keep an eye on the plugs.
