Re: 32" Tensors on stock '17 XP4T?

I literally just installed a set of Method beadlocks and 32 tensor's on mine. I have 500 miles of straight Moab on the stock tires...and will be headed to Sand Hollow with the tensors here in a week or so for a week. As far as I can tell they fit fine, but then here in North Idaho....its hard to test that properly. I will say the difference in handling and overall just.....capable feeling of the machine has improved immensely.... And we ran EVERYTHING in Moab with it in stock form just fine....

32's seem to be the new 30's for the Turbo crowd. Many people are running them. We have them in stock at this time ready to ship.

I will be in Sand Hollow Fri, Sat and Sun next week. Hit me up if you want to get together for a ride. I have the family so I won't be doing anything to crazy.

I won't be down their until Sunday itself, and probably towards the end of the day..... Would have loved to meet up and ride as I am new to this scene, but come from the rockcrawler scene.

If you charge 6% sales tax to Michigan then this source has them lower:
Tensor Tires Regular AT 8-Ply DOT Approved
They do not charge sales tax.
Shipping is free, same as Discount Direct.

Re: 32" Tensors on stock '17 XP4T?

What size offset for the fronts and rears?
I see 2 most common sizes are 5+2 Fronts 5+4 rears.
Can all 4 be the same 9 inch wide wheel (5+4) without rubbing on the fronts?

I am running 32's on 5+2's and they fit great. Whatever you do run the same wheel on all four so you can rotate the tires front to back.

Re: 32" Tensors on stock '17 XP4T?

Mine are mounted on Method 4 + 3, and the machine is approximately 3 inches wider at the front (I haven't actually loaded it in the toy hauler yet, and am somewhat concerned that I will have to swap to stock to fit as it was getting towards tight with the stock). I absolutely love the feel of the machine now driving it around town (and it was good before), but the tensors REALLY improve its manners on the street, and it barks the tires just like my rock crawler k5 with a Detroit does when going around the corner at any speed lol. Ill keep this thread updated with my impressions of them after I get some miles down in Sand Hollow (and ill let you know if it fits in the toy hauler).

Re: 32" Tensors on stock '17 XP4T?

I was asking because, yes, I want all four corners to be the same. With 10 inch wide tires I was looking at going with 9 inch wide wheels, 5+4's, but was worried about the fronts rubbing when making a hard turn. The 5+4,s would add about 4 inches to the width too making it more stable or no?
