Dragonfire Lower doors?

Anybody run the lower Dragon fire doors? Would buy the same or get something different?

Re: Dragonfire Lower doors?

Seem pricey.
I paid 1/4 of that and looks like I got the same thing

What kind did you buy. Wanted ones that fit well, did not rattle, and did not leave a big gap.

Re: Dragonfire Lower doors?

I'm pretty sure these are the ones I got. My ebay history doesn't go back to 2016.
They work good but not perfect by any means.
Only thing I added was for the rear panels was a little stop for the panel when closed
It didn't rattle but it just keeps it from moving
The doors have the rubber trim ring to go around the edges.

Re: Dragonfire Lower doors?

I installed the Dragonfire lowers on my '18 XP 4 last month, bought thru RM and they came with the door slammer hardware. The price was comparable to Pro Armor, and the reviews were just a tad better. The install was pretty simple and straight forward, I also have the Ride Command edition with the door speakers and had no issues there. The gaps are marginal, nothing that I didn't expect and nothing that wasn't somewhat sealed with some weatherstripping from Depot. I did go get the 3M adhesive tape and double to triple the amount the door came with, figured for $10 bucks it was worth the extra stability. The door slammer hardware was a nice addition, it does make the door feel much more solid when opening and closing.

Just FYI, something that I did NOT consider before installing lowers was the HEAT. Holy s**t! Granted, it's summer and I live in Central TX, but wow what a difference from no lowers to lowers. I am also running a full windshield, which I'm sure is adding to the heat, but just be prepared to bake in the cab. It's worth the trade off of not filling the cab full of mud to me.

Re: Dragonfire Lower doors?

I had them before switching to PA full door stealth skins. I liked them. Solid quality & no rattling.

Preferred the full skins mainly because they extended the top of the door a little & I always cruised with an arm up.

So you would buy them again over the pro armor, or ebay/amazon knock offs?

If I didn't go full doors I'd probably go with the UTV Giant lowers. Just thin skinned lowers with bends for sturdiness, nicely priced.

If you want something stiffer & that seal up tight, DF lowers are good.
