New family member

Well we finally got the deal done on a RZR. Dealing with Jones Offroad in Jones OK was great. Best price around. They added the roof at no charge plus I had them add the bumper and Warn winch, half windshield (which is way too short!!) and rear view mirror.

We drove it up the county road and the exhaust was glowing red. Is that normal for a non turbo? I know the turbo units do that.

Now I need to mount some gun racks and we’re set.

No, it's not normal for the exhaust to be glowing. Did you check the operating temp while riding. Personally I prefer the half windshield over the full. I like the air coming in while still protecting me from branches and stones from hitting me. Better call your dealer about the hot exhaust.

The engine temp was around 200.

My engine temp runs about that giver or take 5* or so.

I just took the dogs for a ride. It’s runs good. Coming down to an idle it kinda runs a little rough but hopefully it’ll get used to my elevation and climate here in central west Texas. I don’t know if the computer learns much or just runs off a table so we will see.
