Tender spring swap - where to set the compression adjuster

Just picked up some rzr aid tenders for my 16 1kxp.

I have a pretty decent sized front bumper, a winch, (2) 200lb passengers.

What should I set the collars at front and back? I have them adjusted down and I'm pretty sure the original owner had adjusted them. So I'm not sure where stock is.

What should I set it at for my bumper, winch and passengers. Have 30"s so I'm looking for what about 14" gc?

** I understand I will have to fine tune. Looking for ballpark **

Set them where it gives you the desired right height.

Thank you for all of the information!!!

I mean I'm not trying to be a dick but no shit?

I know this has been done thousands of times and I'm sure someone has a pretty good idea of where the stock setting is. And where I should approximately set it.

Even if someone says "put collar 1in from the top" that is still helping me. Because I dont know what it was stock. I just need a ballpark idea. I know I will have to fine tune it.

Re: Tender spring swap - where to set the compression adjuster

16" is too much ride height. I would be shooting for ~14" in the rear and ~14.5" in the front.

As far as stock preload measurement goes, it is pretty much irrelevant now that you have different springs.

Ah that is closer. I just seen factory ride height is around 13.5".

There is NO "answer" other than set it you get the ride height you want by trail and error. To many factors to say "set @ xx". Maybe Facebook is more your speed

You see how other people actually helped? Like gave me pointers. Said what ground clearance was to much. Said an ideal clearance. Steered me in the right direction.

You didnt do that. Your contribution didnt help me one bit.

If your response was deleted, i wouldnt lose any knowledge.

Comeon dude I obviously understand that its not cookie cutter. I'm looking for a ball park idea, as I stated.

Nowhere did I say "I want the right exact measurement and dont want to deal with it".
Actually I made that clear in the response to your first post.

Re: Tender spring swap - where to set the compression adjuster

You still don't get it and your smartass response was not called for. Ride height is personal preference. You added weight and changed springs, the ONLY answer is adjust them to get the ride height YOU want. It's not rocket science. Good luck
