At camp: Belt, axles, lots of tools. I will also start carrying a water pump, tie rod ends, coolant.

what air tank do you have?
Standard 12oz paintball tank with a Powertank adjustable regulator. I keep a bigger tank in the truck. It will run an impact if needed.

Re: What spare parts do you guys carry with you?

Changes with season.....winter I always carry extra cold waterproof gloves so when mine get wet I can put on dry ones. The other item I haven't seen on here yet is a pair of jumper cables, used them a lot. Summer,,,,bug spray and sunblock. I know the post said tools, but this stuff needs to be in your tool box too. Never needed it, but I also carry a SPOT.

I've been looking for a new air source, and looking at the Dewalt 20V unit. Thinking it can pull double duty on batteries as I like to have an impact wrench in the truck/trailer that runs on the same. Subscribed to eye ball any other suggestions.

Re: What spare parts do you guys carry with you?

A spare RZR and a tow strap.

I think most of the things that break in the field are going to be difficult to fix there. I had a primary clutch fail this fall requiring that my second car towed the first back to camp.

A belt failure is common and fixable so take spare and tools for that.

Flat tires are very common. Take a spare, tools and a jack. Of the 6 flats I have had, none of them have been repairable.

Re: What spare parts do you guys carry with you?

I tore into the front left today to replace tenders and anti sleeze (seize) the axle then grease the bearings. I went through my tool bag again and used what tools were needed and made a list: based on 18 RS1- 15’ 900 is 90+% identical.
Lug nut socket factory or aftermarket
Needle nose/ sidecuts: axle cotter (gerber)
27mm: axle socket
Dual 15’s for upper/lower ball joint
18mm: tie rod end nut to spindle
Dual 15mm: sway bar links
Dual 15mm: upper lower A arms
Dual 15mm: shocks
15mm shallow socket w 3” extension and 3/8 drive ratchet for brake caliper or use 3/8 ratchet w 15mm deepwell
22mm or small crescent for tie rod end lock nut
small crescent for tie rod itself.
1/2” brake line banjo bolt (13 fits but kinda loose.
Snap ring pliers
Hammer
This will replace (front driver, pass probly same.)
Upper lower A arms
Upper lower ball joints
Sway bar end links
Spindle
Caliper
Hub
Tie rod
Tie rod ends
Hub
studs
Disc rotor
Shock
Brake line
Bleed brakes
Brake pads
And pull an axle
Now the back will differ slightly and i havent been back there yet. I basically go and tear into the machine and what tools I use I put in the rzr tool box.
No for parts I carry.
Belt
Cotter pins
Zips of diff sizes
Extra lugs, bolts, nuts
Replacement synthetic winch rope
Tow straps for non repairable items
Any small spare parts that Ive replaced. Such as tie rod ends, ball joints, old belt, etc. even though its worn, its better than nothing.
Im yet to fab up an axle holder (or two if my axles are different) thinking some pvc w cap on one end and screw cap on other. Keeps it outta the elements and easy to secure. Ive seen the cage clamp styles just not sure how that works with the cv flopping around. Also its in the elements.
On the trailer I keep a 15gal weed sprayer from local farm store. Fill it with water, extend power wires to get to vehicle cig lighter, and now you have a means to wash yourself and your machine post rides.
If you have the T handle, weld in a 3/8 socket adapter, then you have a nice 3/8 bar instead of small ratchet for real torque.
If you have a sealed cage, as mine was, dill and tap it for a fitting to go to a small 12v pump. Then you dont need to take up space w an add on tank as 1.75” cage can take quite the psi and its built into the machine.
Im sure Ill think of more as I go along...
