Polaris UHMW skids? VS FUTV

Need new skid plates for the highlifter, on my 800 i had FUTV skids and they were awesome. Now living in canada and our dollar being worth so little by the time i buy and ship it will cost a small fortune. I see Polaris sells a UHMW skid and i can get it at the dealer for a decent price, does anyone have any experience with these? are they any good? i know theyre 3/8 but thats about all the info i can find. Thanks

Re: Polaris UHMW skids? VS FUTV

The Polaris accessory skid plates are HMW, not UHMW. So they are more of a softer plastic like the factory skid material. Guess it depends on what kind of terrain you will be riding on whether they would be good enough or not.
