2017 HL snorkel question

Those of you with the HL editions. I just picked one up the other day and I was looking it over. I noticed on the air intake snorkel that there is a billet drain plug. Any of you that ride in deeper water seal this off or have had any trouble with water getting in at that point? It just presses in. Im worried that it could fall out.

Re: 2017 HL snorkel question

I put a dab of silicone on mine and then stuck it back in place. That's a dumb place for a drain in my opinion.

+1 pulled it out and ran some silicon around the groove and pushed it back in. I think its a must do if you run deep
