14 rzr 800s pinion nut fix

Doing the pinion nut fix on a rzr 800s and never found any shims behind the one bolt on the connecting tube to the diff.. Did not all the 800s have the shims... the bracket doest show an impression of one so im sure there was none there

They don't all come with the shim.
Many go missing during initial disassembly.
The actual shim is .015".
I suspect that unless the gap between bent steel plate part, and machined boss on aluminum cast part is .050" to .100", that everything will bolt up with out shims.

I would snug the bolt in question first, then tighten the remaing bolts.

We did 2 machines when we did the nut dance and my buddy's the shim was seen easily and is how we knew to look for it on mine. But we didn't think mine had one but then found it stuck to wherever it bolted in.
