Wrench RPM with AA tune

My 2017 1000s with AA stock tune will only reach 7300 Rpm in high gear. The limiter is set higher.

I am running 30" tires with Dalton clutch kit. Clutches resently inspected and cleaned cleaned.

Should I expect more Rpm in high gear??

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

Re: RPM with AA tune

I don’t have the answer to why, but yes, it should reach shift phase rpm above 8000 and then basically pull all the way to rev limiter if you stay in it

Re: RPM with AA tune

Have you made any clutch adjustments since? How is your primary set up now?

Re: RPM with AA tune

Low RPM at top speed is a power related issue, I would be suspect of the tune or some other issue that popped up.

Very rare that anything clutch related causes low rpm issue at top speed

So the question is what is the last thing you changed before it went lower? If tune then that might be it

Re: RPM with AA tune

It is your Primary Clutch Setup. You should get to almost 8300 RPM. The S motor being more a low end motor you might be OK. Point being, you have more HP at 7300 than 8300.
