Slapping Noise Front & Rear

Hi guys,      I have a 2018 RS-1 with a few mods 32" tires on 15 " bead locks.  When I go over studder bumps  or down rocky trails I hear what sound like cables slapping on a pan or plate. Its really loud and sounds  like the thing is going to fall apart.   No vibration felt, does it under power ( going slow) or coasting  down hills   over the bumps.  The only thing I find is the axles are REALLY sloppy at the diff's front and rear.  My  nephews turbo axles are loose but nothing like mine.  Do you guys think the axles are the cause??

I have a 2019 XP 1000 and under short choppy bumps in rocky conditions at higher speeds awls I hear is like a Slappy rattle noise underneath mine TooIt drives me freaking crazy but I have 1000 hard miles on it and I can’t figure out what it was at first I thought it might’ve been the radiator lines but they’re fine

Re: Slapping Noise Front & Rear

The trans and clutches in the RS1 and the turbos make a lot of noise. I thought mine had issues at first until speaking with other owners. Just seems to be a normal noise on these units.

Re: Slapping Noise Front & Rear

Pull your clutch cover and check the inside box above the belt. If you see marks then its belt slap.

Sounds like normal rs1 and turbo s clutch noise. These clutches make some serious rattling, banging, clicking if you start to push you car and or under heavy braking. It's very common and nothing to be alarmed about. My rs1 and my 3 buddies with turbo s rigs all do it.
