Rs1 with turbo s suspension?

So I have been doing some homework here and what I'm finding is the turbo s upper a arms, lower a arms, radius rods, and trailing arms Should fit on a rs1. You would need to have a custom heim tie rod setup since the rack and pinion threads are different. You would also need the turbo s rear main aluminum spindles as well as axles from a turbo s. I'm also finding that the shock length is the same between the turbo s and rs1. Does anyone know if this has been done yet to get a longer travel 72" wide rs1? Seems like it could be very doable

The geometry of the rear radius rods I am 90% sure is different. Look at a turbo s and measure the distance between the radius rod bolts where they bolt to the frame and I think it’s wider that the rs1. Possibly get adjustable radius rods to make up for this but not sure what it would do through suspension travel. I have also been considering this and that is the biggest unknown for me. Front a arm tabs would have to be drilled out as the turbo s uses bigger hardware. Easy fix.

As for rear components the bolt pattern for the aluminum bearing housing that actually bolts to the trailing arm is different. I was at atvfourplay last night comparing things and did confirm that. I just put a call in too my friend that builds cages locally about frane side radius rod bolt hole location. Here is what I have found d I know is different.

*Rs1 inner tie rod threads 12mm and 14mm for turbo (easy fix run kryptonite 12mm inner with custom center tie bar)
*Rs1 a arm bolts are m12 and turbo s m14 (easy fix just drill them out and maybe put some weld washers on for strength)
*Rs1 rear wheel bearing housing bolt pattern different (easy just run turbo s rear bearing housings)
*Obviously s axles are longer but s axles will direct swap
*Shocks are same length but would need full re spring and valve due to leverage change.

I think this swap would be a exelent way to get a solid mid travel suspension setup on a rs1. I think it would take minimal work. So many people ditch the stock suspension components im sure they could be had somewhat reasonable.
