I just seen that when I looked at the specs. WOW! She is a heavy girl.
I hope it's a beefy drive train and a good cage with all that weight.

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

should be a blast to drive with 110hp, like that they have rear radiator, maybe Polaris will start doing that in all models

Been waiting for this for awhile. Front tires seem to be really far outside the fenders. looks like it will be a muddy ride.

I'm not sure I get it either. I guess if you want to step up from an Ace 900XC, then this is an upgrade. But other than that, I'm a little lost.

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

I'll say this much in terms of design changes from radiator locations, drivetrain, it is a step in the right direction. Also looks like it would be a blast to drive, however I wouldn't buy it. I have a family of passengers lol.

On another note WTF is up with the doors? It is like the opposite issue that current rzrs have with a giant hole in the bottom for mud and dirt to get in... this one no hole in the bottom but the top is missing in the front lol. Come on polaris just put on full doors for once.

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

Sorry guys couldn't disagree more! This thing is gonna be a little rocket! Truth is nobody wants to be in the passenger side seat of a Rzr for very long. Most people who have Rzr's don't even have passengers with them. It's not for everyone but that's the point. If you want a passenger then they have the existing XP 1000. The price is very good and I'm sure it will be much faster than the Ace 900XC. My only wish is that they would come out with a trail version, 52 - 56 inches wide and maybe 80 - 90 HP!
Unfortunately for me the 64 in. wide makes it useless for the trails I ride on..

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

Only 110 hp it needs a turbo, then maybe it will lift the front tires off the ground. If itís going to be one person ride itís got to be done right, take it back and get the hp up where it needs to be closer to 200 and shed some more weigh.

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

If you've been keeping an eye on the short course and the GNCC scene it would make sense to you. Can Am and Yamaha have been dominating that arena. listening to what racers want not enthusiasts. Looks like they are on to something, time will tell. Still wish they would work harder on CG, JMHO.

Mark

Re: Well, It's here. The RS1. Thoughts?

I think some are missing the point, it's supposed to be a very quick, agile and nimble (for a 64 in. wide) vehicle. It's designed to be quick in the woods and other relatively tight trails. Not everyone needs 200 HP, 110 HP dodging in and around turns and trees will be plenty. Most fast trail riders or even racers drive alone...
