Hi guys and gals,
Just bought a low-miles 2016 RZR Trail EPS. It’s mostly stock, currently sports a winch, fold down poly windshield, Polaris cargo box, lower door inserts and a Tusk bag between the seats. Also has a street legal kit.
I’m planning a few upgrades and wanted to run them by some experienced users to make sure I’m heading the right direction.
Here’s my list of planned mods:
- SLP Super Silent Muffler and Air Intake
- New Wheels and Tires, something better suited for rocks/desert. Probably 27x9 all around.
- Skid Plates and A-Arm protection
- Tusk Rear Window
- Tusk floor mats
- Tusk Exo front bumper
- Razorback Expedition Rack
- PRP Seats for a tall guy
- Modquad anti-rattle Grab handle mount and SLP Wrist restraints
Clutch kit if needed?
Also considering some suspension mods. Not sure if anybody is using aftermarket a-arms or has a recommendation there. Obviously shocks are on the list. As well as any ball joints/bushings/axles that would be worth upgrading. I imagine the machine will get out to about 53” with aftermarket wheels, and that would be fine with me. Turning it into an XC at 55” wouldn’t hurt.
Another thing I’m curious about is the tools/parts you guys carry with you on the trail, and what you keep at home for maintenance work. I want to be prepared to fix any potential issues while on the trail to get me back to the truck.
