First RZR 900 Trail trip was a blast.

Just recently got back from our first vacation with the RZR 900 Trail. Man, we had a blast! We were use to riding on a 2-up ATV and this thing just blew it away. We spent a few days in Moab "breaking" it in and then headed to several places around Utah to ride some 50" trails and boondock camp. ( Joe's Valley, Koosharem and Brice) Other than some snow at higher elevations the trails we rode were dust free and awesome. It was very nice to sit side by side and be able to carry on a conversation. Also, the cargo carrying ability over the ATV made trail riding 100% more enjoyable. My wife never liked driving the ATV but had a blast driving the RZR. The only let down of the trip is that for most of the 50" trails we noticed that the fences by the gates were tore down and wider machines were getting on the trails. The only exception was Casto Canyon, those gates were exactly at 50" and a tight squeeze. We put about 300 miles on the RZR and no issues what so ever. I had to fabricate a rack system so I could load it into a short box on the Ram 2500 and still tow the travel trailer. We were surprised that the set up worked as well as it did. Definitely looking forward to our next trip. Here's a list of the stuff I put on the machine prior to the maiden voyage.
Polaris roof
Polaris winch
1/2 windshield
rearview mirror
Parking brake
Between the seat cargo bag
Roll bar mounted rear cargo bag
Under the front hood storage bow
Air compressor
Tool bag
Homemade storage rack for the RC trucks

**For sure the next item to be installed will be the lower doors.

Frank, It looks like you had a lot of fun and that is what it is all about. I would make one suggestion on the tray you build and that would be to add legs down to the rear up facing torque head screws and replace them with a short bolt and nut. I made an almost exact copy of your's but I added the legs. Just weld a square on end of an angle so you can drill it to accept the bolt. The vibrations will cause you top welds to break if you don't. Just a suggestion.

Give it a few weeks and the fences will be torn down at Casto also.

Thanks DaleB. Yeah , I'm gonna make an additional support system for it before I out any weight on it. Just gotta figure out how I want to do and what it is I will want to mount there.

You can see the legs on the rack in this photo. I have it off right now or I would get a photo for you. I only put in on for hunting season. I also attached a photo of last year hunt camp.
