Just purchase rzr 800 3500 miles help

Hey guys just purchased rzr 800 3500 miles . She is a 2014 le model. She has 26 inch tires I don't like how low the machine is. Wondering it's ok to put a 2 inch lift in and bigger tires.what are your suggestions.

Replacing stock (sagging) springs will give you more clearance than a 2" lift kit will.
I did both.

Did 2" lift, as well as spring kit. Spring kit is still best mod to date. Rides so much better.
Still have the factory 26" Big Horns, although I've had my eyes on a new set of wheels with 28" tires for a new look and little more ground clearance.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Google RZR 800 springs. Results will return you to lots of info including here on the RZR forum. check out the link I left in my previous post.

As for Ebay springs, you get what you pay for.

Re: Just purchase rzr 800 3500 miles help

I have the RTPro lift and dual rate spring kit on mine. I forget what I paid 3 yrs back. Looks like springs are $465 now. Spring kit was not difficult to install. Lift kit was a little more work, as holes had to be drilled in rear frame for mounting.

Does the holes always have to be drilled for lift kit? Can u just get spacers? And how do I know what weight to get springs?

The way I read the mounting instructions, certain frames needed holes drilled and certain other frames did not. Luck of the draw, mine needed drilling.

That'll get ya some height, but it's gonna beat your kidneys to death down a rough stretch of trail.

Spring kit will get some height, as well as better ride. At least that's my experience. I'll back it out of garage after work and take a pic and measure ground clearance for you.

Link to springs. Come in two different rates. I got the medium.
